When Jackson wakes up from a nightmare, Reza urges Jackson to reconcile with his sister Sofia, to forgive her. Jackson is hesitant, so Reza suggests having breakfast together, since her apartment isn't far, but Jackson notes that she'll be at the family's cabin for the summer. Unperturbed, Reza simply says that he has a long day of driving ahead of him then.
Eventually, Reza drives out to the cabin to join Jackson, only to discover him using heroin right next to Sofia's week-old corpse. He brings Jackson to the hospital and surmises that Jackson found the body and snapped, relapsing. After talking with a doctor, he goes to Jackson and reassures him that it's not his fault, and the two hug.
