Charles Dimakulangan is a successful corporate worker who appears in "Imposter".

"Imposter"[]

Charles is first seen sealing a sale for his company, to the applause of Bradley and his fiancée, Jen Spencer. He then returns home to his family, where he argues with his sister about wearing a peculiar talisman from his mother and whether to keep working so hard, given the medical help his mother needs. He has a strange experience when he touches the talisman, hallucinating his own death, but it soon passes. His mother, Darna, interrupts and insists that Tala support her brother rather than criticize him, but soon has an Alzheimer's episode and cannot remember who Charles is, slapping him as an intruder.

Charles returns to his room, intending to wear the talisman, but his stains his shirt and he leaves it behind. He's shadowed by a strange imposter of himself, wearing traditional garb, as he moves around, but eventually he arrives to visit his fiancée, Jen Spencer. She advises him to be himself and her father will like him, so he goes to attend a before-party, getting along amicably with Bradley and Jen's father. Goes out to his car to get some drinks, but the imposter nearly attacks him, frightening him, so he flees back to the party. There he finds everyone cleared out, with his sister now there, concerned for him, but he brushes her concerns off and goes to the award ceremony.

At the ceremony, the imposter is there giving a speech in his stead, speaking Tagalog. He witnesses the imposter attack Jen's father before fleeing, so Charles pursues, hunting him to an elevator. When he hits the button, the imposter appears behind him, so the two briefly duel until Darna arrives. She believes the imposter to be the real Charles, admonishing him to be true to himself before leaving. The imposter then tries to give Charles the talisman back, but Charles smashes it and stabs the imposter to death. When everyone arrives to see the imposter's corpse, they treat it as Charles, and mourn his death even as he stands there staring at them.
